Raaz Reboot: First posters of the film will give you the chills
The Bhatts are back with a reboot of their successful franchise. They did quite the job in the past decade, to establish franchises from Raaz, Jannat to Murder, which have been profitable. The idea was to cash in on the success of some movies, by repeating the skeleton of the original film, only improvising on the cast and the plot here and there.

Humanity at its worst: Man throwing dog off the roof identified as medical student from Chennai
A day after a horrifying video of a man throwing a dog from a terrace in Tamil Nadu went viral on Facebook and WhatsApp, the man in the video, has been identified as Gautam S, a final year MBBS student from Madha medical college.
While the name of the person who shot the video is also being circulated, it can only be established after further investigation.
Concerned students who had identified their classmates who had thrown the dog off the terrace, sent their details to The News Minute too.
The video went viral on Monday and shows the dog shaking as the man poses for the camera and drops the dog down from the terrace. The video ends with the sound of the dog crying in pain.
When the police, accompanied with activists, went to arrest the duo, they were found absconding.
While Gautam went home to Chennai, the other returned to his village, police claimed.
"This issue had surfaced two weeks ago when the video was uploaded. However, when students of the college recognized Gautam and tried to reveal his identity, they were threatened by him," said Shravan Krishnan, one of the activists who accompanied the police.
The cops will be visiting the college again on Tuesday to see if some action can be taken.
Earlier, the Humane Society International/India offered a reward of Rs 100,000 to anyone who was willing to voluntarily provide valid information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person.

Women Smoking
KOLKATA...The City of Joy has more smokers than other metros but they smoke less at home compared to those in other parts of the country. A study conducted by general insurance company ICICI Lombard through GFK Mode has revealed that 97% of smokers in Kolkata smoke more than 6.6 cigarettes a day compared to a national average of five. However, owing to family pressure and self-restriction, smokers here tend to do it outside their residence. Almost 34% of the respondents in Kolkata have said that they do not smoke at the place of stay while the national average is only 16%. In Delhi, this figure is zero while in Mumbai it is 19%.
"This must be because of stringent family restrictions and tradition of not smoking in front of elderly people in the family," said Amit Bhandari, VP (health underwriting & claims), ICICI Lombard. The sample size of for the study in Kolkata was 225 across all age groups.
The city-based smokers are also ahead of the national average in terms of showing willingness to quit smoking. According to Bhandari, the smokers in the city also have a habit to take steps to quit smoking though unsuccessfully, due to lack of will power most of the times. Nationally, 28% of smokers have said that they took steps to quit smoking while in Kolkata it is 32%.
